DuoWallet is a shared budgeting and expense tracking app for couples, families, and groups. It lets two or more people log expenses together, set budgets, track savings goals, and split costs — all in real time.
After signing up, go to the Budget tab and tap "Link with Partner". You'll see an invite code — share it with your partner. They tap "Join Budget Group" and enter the code. Once joined, all expenses and budgets are shared in real time.
Yes! You can log your own expenses, set personal savings goals, and use split groups for trips or roommates — all without linking to a partner. Partner linking is optional and can be added anytime.
Yes, DuoWallet is available on the Apple App Store (iOS 16+) and Google Play Store (Android 8+). Your data syncs across devices automatically via the cloud.
Account
After signing up with email, we send a verification link to your inbox. Click it to verify. If you don't see it, check your spam folder or tap "Resend" in the app. Email verification is not required for Sign in with Apple.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. We'll send a password reset link to your inbox. If you signed up with Apple, use Sign in with Apple — password reset doesn't apply.
You can update your display name in Settings → Profile. Email address changes are not currently supported — if you need to change your email, please contact support.
You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or follow the full instructions on our Account Deletion page. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data.
Subscriptions & Billing
Yes! Every new account gets a 31-day free trial with full access to all premium features. No credit card is required to start. After the trial, a subscription is needed to continue using premium features.
Premium includes: unlimited expense logging, savings goals, budget tracking, split groups (trips, roommates, travel), recurring expenses, and full real-time sync with your partner. The free plan after trial has a 30-expense monthly limit.
Website (Razorpay): ₹399/year — best value, billed once annually.
App Store (iOS): ₹49/month or ₹499/year — billed via Apple.
Google Play (Android): ₹49/month or ₹499/year — billed via Google.
When you pay on our website, your subscription is linked to your DuoWallet account via your email. Sign in to the app with the same email you used on the website — premium will be active within a few minutes. If it doesn't activate, email us with your payment ID.
App Store: Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → DuoWallet → Cancel.
Google Play: Open Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DuoWallet → Cancel.
Website (Razorpay): Email us at support@evrydaysolutions.com with your payment ID to cancel. Annual plans are not auto-renewed by default.
App Store / Google Play: Refunds are handled by Apple or Google respectively under their refund policies.
Website (Razorpay): Refunds may be requested within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any premium features after your free trial. Email support@evrydaysolutions.com with your Razorpay payment ID.
Using the App
No. DuoWallet is a manual tracking app — you log expenses yourself. We never connect to bank accounts, UPI, or any payment system. This keeps your financial data private and gives you full control over what you track.
Split Groups let you track shared costs with any group of people — a Goa trip, roommate bills, team lunches. Each member can log expenses, and the app automatically calculates who owes whom. Perfect for groups beyond just couples.
The DuoWallet home screen widget shows your current month's spending vs budget at a glance. To add it: long-press your home screen → tap the "+" button → search "DuoWallet" → choose the widget size and place it. The widget updates automatically as you and your partner log expenses.
Yes. All data is stored in Google Firebase (Mumbai servers) with end-to-end authentication. Your financial data is only visible to you and your linked partner or group members. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and personal data from our servers within 30 days. Expenses you logged in shared groups may be retained in anonymised form for the group's records. See the Account Deletion page for full details.
Technical Issues
First, check your internet connection. Then pull down to refresh in the Budget tab. If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in. If the issue persists, email us at support@evrydaysolutions.com with your device type and what you're seeing.
Try force-quitting the app and reopening. If the problem continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling — your data is saved in the cloud, so nothing will be lost. If it still crashes, please email support with your device model and iOS/Android version.
